一、活動宗旨：為幫助高醫學生熟悉英語運用，在多元情境下鍛鍊英文口語，特別設計演講及辯論比賽活動，以提升學生學習英文口語表達能力，能更投入英語學習。本次英語演講比賽意在為學生提供一個友好環境讓學生發揮英語口說能力。辯論賽則為學生提供一個平台，讓他們在輕鬆的競爭環境中展示自己的英語口語表達。外籍評審們也能給予很好的意見幫助學生提升自身口語技巧。

二、活動對象：本校學生（含醫院見習生、實習生、研究生、學士後醫學生）

三、活動日期：

四、活動地點：第一教學大樓B1演藝廳。

五、獎勵：

一、得獎學生各頒發獎金暨獎狀一紙。

二、演講首獎6,000元，第二名4,000元，第三名3,000元。

三、辯論首獎12,000元，第二名8,000元，第三名6,000元。

*辯論比賽為3人一隊，進行4場辯論。

Topics for the debate are:

1. It is ethical for Harry Potter to use his magic power for his own personal gain

2. Without humans, Earth would be a boring place. 

3. It would be better to be rich with no friends than be poor with many friends.

4. Cats are better than dogs.

(If two teams would like to formulate their own topic that can be considered)

Teams should register before 04/29 17:30 to claim your preferred topic and other members' name, email at: r101121@kmu.edu.tw 

*演講一人約4分鐘。

The topic for the narrative talk is:

An event* in my life and the important lesson(s) I learnt.

* The event can be: exciting, adventurous, traumatic, dangerous, or anything situation you like wherein you overcame some adversity.
